I’m Virginia Diez, a traveling makeup artist based in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and the creator of The Soft Glow Method.

The method is built on a simple belief: the best makeup looks like your best skin, not a look that was designed for someone else’s face. My approach is skin-first, which means every appointment begins with preparation. The result is makeup that photographs beautifully, lasts through heat and humidity, and still feels completely like you at the end of the night.

Born and raised in Puerto Rico, I trained across bridal, fashion, editorial, and commercial beauty in Miami and internationally. Before becoming a full-time artist, I spent more than two decades in luxury hospitality, eventually leading sales strategy across 36 hotel properties worldwide.

While the industries may seem very different, that experience shaped the way I serve every client today. It taught me that the smallest details matter, that preparation creates confidence, and that exceptional experiences are never accidental. Those lessons became the foundation of my work as an artist.

Today, I bring that same level of care, professionalism, and attention to detail into every bridal suite, television set, destination wedding, and private appointment.

I also work as a makeup artist for TNA Wrestling’s national television productions and pay-per-view events. Broadcast lighting is unforgiving, timelines are tight, and there is no room for error. That standard of precision follows me into every wedding morning, editorial shoot, and client experience.

Whether I’m working with a bride on one of the most important days of her life or preparing talent for a national broadcast, my goal remains the same: to create a calm, personalized experience and makeup that feels effortlessly elevated.
